This itinerary runs the Indus south from Lahore, Harappa, then Multan's shrines, then Mohenjo daro itself, so you see the civilisation in order rather than as a single isolated site visit.

Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1, Lahore
Lahore Fort, Badshahi Mosque and the Walled City to set the later Mughal context before going back 4,000 years.
Day 2, Harappa
Drive south to Sahiwal for Harappa, the northern capital of the Indus Valley Civilisation, and its site museum. Overnight Multan.
Day 3, Multan
The shrines of Shah Rukn e Alam and Bahauddin Zakariya, the old bazaar and the blue tile workshops.
Day 4, Multan to Larkana
Long drive south along the Indus into Sindh, with the river and the agricultural belt alongside most of the way.
Day 5, Mohenjo daro
A full day at the site, the Great Bath, the granary, the citadel and the residential streets with their drainage system, plus the museum. Time enough to actually walk it rather than skim.
Day 6, Sukkur and departure
Sukkur's barrage and Sadhu Bela island, then the flight out.

Questions About This Tour
The street plan, drainage and brick structures are remarkably intact, which is what makes it extraordinary. But salt damage is a real and ongoing problem and some areas are reburied for protection, so parts are not accessible. Expect an archaeological site, not a restored monument.
November to February only. Sindh in summer regularly exceeds 45°C and Mohenjo daro has almost no shade, it is dangerous rather than merely uncomfortable.
