Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1, Islamabad to Chilas
Drive north along the Karakoram Highway through the Indus gorge to Chilas.
Day 2, Raikot Bridge to Fairy Meadows
Jeep to Tato village, then trek 2 to 3 hours to Fairy Meadows.
Day 3, Nanga Parbat Base Camp
Full day trek via Beyal Camp toward Nanga Parbat Base Camp and the Raikot Glacier.
Day 4, Fairy Meadows Buffer Day
Weather flexibility day for mountain views, photography and shorter walks.
Day 5, Fairy Meadows to Hunza
Descend and continue north to Hunza Valley.
Day 6, Hunza Heritage
Baltit Fort, Altit Fort, Karimabad bazaar and Duikar viewpoint.
Day 7, Upper Hunza
Attabad Lake, Passu Cones, Hussaini suspension bridge and Gulmit.
Day 8, Hunza to Minapin
Transfer to Minapin in Nagar Valley and prepare for the Rakaposhi trek.
Day 9, Trek to Hapakun
Begin the Rakaposhi Base Camp route through forest and alpine terrain.
Day 10, Rakaposhi Base Camp
Continue to Tagaphari/Rakaposhi Base Camp for close views of the Rakaposhi Diran massif.
Day 11, Descend to Minapin & Hunza
Trek back to Minapin and transfer to Hunza.
