Day by Day Itinerary
Days 1 to 2, Islamabad to Hunza
Drive the Karakoram Highway with an overnight en route, arriving in Karimabad on Day 2 with the valley in blossom.
Day 3, Karimabad & Baltit Fort
Baltit Fort above the blossom terraces, the old town lanes, and an afternoon walk through the orchards below Karimabad.
Day 4, Eagle's Nest Sunrise
Pre dawn drive to Duikar for first light on Rakaposhi and Golden Peak, with blossom in the valley far below.
Day 5, Altit Fort & Royal Garden
Altit Fort, the oldest in the valley, and its restored royal garden, among the best blossom settings in Hunza.
Day 6, Nagar Valley & Hopper
Cross the river to Nagar for blossom on the shaded side of the valley and the Hopper glacier viewpoint.
Day 7, Attabad Lake & Passu
Upper Hunza, Attabad Lake, Passu Cones, the Hussaini bridge and Gulmit village.
Day 8, Free Day in Karimabad
An unscheduled day to revisit the orchards at your own pace, walk the Ultar meadow trail, or simply sit with the view.
Days 9 to 10, Return to Islamabad
Two day drive back down the KKH with a night en route, arriving Islamabad on Day 10.

Questions About This Tour
Typically 1 to 20 April, with the first week strongest in lower Hunza and the middle of the month better in upper Hunza. Blossom is weather driven and can move by a week in either direction, so we advise on dates closer to the season.
Not on this itinerary, the pass is usually still snowbound in April and often closed. This tour concentrates on the blossom valleys instead, which is where the season is worth seeing.
Four of those days are the KKH drive there and back. Ten days leaves six full days in Hunza, which is what it takes to see both the central blossom circuit and upper Hunza without rushing.
