Spring (roughly March May) brings different conditions depending on where in Pakistan you are, here's the nationwide picture.
Northern mountains: April brings cherry and apricot blossom to Hunza and Skardu, though timing shifts year to year with spring temperatures. High altitude sites like Deosai and Khunjerab Pass typically remain closed until late spring snowmelt.
Plains and cities: Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi enjoy some of their most comfortable weather in March before summer heat sets in around April May.
Chilam Joshi: The Kalash people's best known festival falls in mid May, marking the start of the growing season with traditional dance and dress.
What spring is NOT good for: Serious high altitude trekking (K2 Base Camp, Concordia) remains off limits until the main June September season; Deosai typically isn't accessible until late spring at the earliest.
