Chapursan Valley, in far upper Hunza, is home to Wakhi-speaking communities and offers some of the most remote, untouched scenery accessible by 4x4 from Karimabad.

Getting there: A rough 4x4 drive from Karimabad, roughly 3-4 hours each way, remote terrain requiring proper off-road vehicles.

Irshad Pass: A high pass at the valley's far end connecting toward Afghanistan's Wakhan Corridor, not a route regular tourists cross, but a striking geographic feature marking just how far Chapursan reaches toward Central Asia.

What makes it worth the drive: Genuine Wakhi village culture, dramatic remote scenery, and a level of untouched authenticity increasingly hard to find in more developed parts of Hunza.
